Brrrr. My world looks like a “Snow-Globe!” The storm hitting Alaska didn’t produce much where I live but gave us a good dose of snow last night. It’s so pretty on the inside looking out. Makes me think of the a•muse|studio Snow Globe die that I used on my card featuring the stag from the “Winter Stag” set. I love how that stag just stands there so serenely. His size fits just perfectly inside the Snow Globe die. The biggest challenge I had was choosing the pedestal base on the Globe. I love card stock and there were so many perfect choices with all the 40 some colors of card stock available through a•muse|studio. I think I ended up with Slate. The Globe part is punched in Sky Blue. The image stamped in Memento Tuxedo Black and Colored in with Copics. Pebble makes up the Card with an impression plate putting the snow like dots in the background. Little piece of red twine accessorizes the pedestal on the globe.
Copic Colors are E00, E21, E33, BG10, BG11 & 0.

Happy World Card Making Day!!! Check out the Maple Tag!!! A Muse|Studio rubber stamps has them in 2 different sizes! I couldn’t believe when a•muse claimed you could punch them with your “cropodile” but, it’s true. Punched almost like butter, it did! Love the Jingle Bells musical notes teamed up with the Candy Cane paper here! Used a little Red Organdy Dot ribbon to finish it off! A simple card, quick to make with something fun for your recipient to hang on their tree!

“O Holy Night” includes 6 stamps in the set; 3 sentiments and 3 images. I wanted something peaceful and simple so as not to detract from the message or the images.Julie reminded me of using Sponge Daubers (or Cosmetic sponges) to create such a “Spectacular” background, which was perfect for what I was looking for!

MFW Tuesday Trigger – A Muse Studio Style

Hard not to be inspired by Moxie Fab World’s “Tuesday’s Trigger!” This week’s is the Classically Modern “The Lennox.”
I love the clean, fresh look of Blue and White. It makes me think of Summer! I’ve been waiting to ink up my “Ornate Elements” set from A Muse Studio Rubber Stamps. This set comes with so many beautiful Ornate Elements it was difficult to choose which one to use as my background. A|S Blueberry Ink was the perfect match for the Lennox look and embossing it with clear embossing powder gave it that extra sheen and dimension. I needed a bit of bling and found a hoarded one hiding out in my Bling Box that had that metallic look I was going for. I needed a bit of bloom for color which I snagged from my “Ooh la la” Stamp Set that I colored up in RV02,06 and B00, 02 and YG23, 25. Gave my flowers a run through my Big Shot & Oval die and layered them with a Scalloped Nestibilities die in Blueberry A Muse Studio paper. Softened my look with a touch of sheer organza ribbon.
Let Moxie Fab World’s Tuesday Trigger inspire YOU!

Oh Lolly! Once you start making these, it’s hard to stop! A Muse Studio Cloud Paper is so perfect for a sky background. It played nicely with the Cloud Die template for the sentiment.
Following Julie Ebersole’s Challenge for the A Muse Studio Consultants I used a Nestibilities Oval in two sizes for additional dimension for my “balloon” image. The sentiment and image are from the “Itty Bitty Birthday” stamp set.
Check out Julie’s video on her website here . Julie does an expert job with a tutorial on this type of card. These are really fun to make and if you don’t have a Big Shot or a collection of Nestibilities to make your window, a simple hand punch in a size and shape suitable for your image works fine!
